Before joining Weldon & Rothman, P.L., Brad Rothman was associated with two
prominent Florida law firms, where his practice focused on insurance disputes and
insurer bad faith litigation.  Mr. Rothman continues to practice in the area of
insurance law, including insurance disputes involving commercial property,
homeowners, fire damage, hurricane damage, bad faith, automobile, PIP, uninsured
motorists, health, life, short and long term disability, and ERISA.  In addition to
insurance law, Mr. Rothman practices in the areas of general civil litigation,
commercial litigation, personal injury, bad-faith litigation, and employment law.
Richard L. Weldon, II
Managing Member

Richard Weldon was born and raised in Southwest Florida.  He is a member in good
standing with the Florida Bar and he has been an active member with the Collier
County Bar Association, Lee County Bar Association, Collier County Bar Association
Trial Section, and Thomas S. Biggs American Inns of Court.  He is admitted to practice
in the State of Florida and the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
   

A graduate of Sarasota High School, Florida State University, and University of Florida,
Mr. Weldon is proud of his Florida heritage and education.  He received his Bachelor of
Science degree in Business Management from Florida State University, graduating cum
laude, and obtained his law degree from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law.

Mr. Weldon is an active member of the community.  He is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Pelican Bay where he is
currently President-Elect of the club, a member of the Board of Directors, and past Kiwanis advisor for Key Club
at the Community School of Naples.  He is also a member of the University of Florida Alumni Association and the
Southwest Florida Gator Club.  Mr. Weldon is married to his lovely wife, Jennifer, and they are both proud parents
of a rescued hound dog, Lola, and a 13-inch beagle, Sophie.

Mr. Weldon established The Weldon Law Firm, PL with a vision of building a full-service law firm dedicated to
providing exceptional representation to its clients.  Although the firm has grown, the firm maintains its original
mission of providing personalized legal representation while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Mr. Rothman earned his bachelor’s degree at Quinnipiac University, graduating magna cum laude, before earning
his master’s degree at Columbia University.  Subsequently, he moved to Florida to attend law school at the
University of Florida, where he received his law degree with honors.  During law school, Mr. Rothman served as
Senior Research Editor of the Florida Law Review, and received the Law Review's Frank E. Maloney Award
(outstanding candidate) and Outstanding Associate Editor Award.  He also authored
401(k) Plans in the Wake of
the Enron Debacle
, 54 Fla. L. Rev. 921.

Mr. Rothman is an active member of the Southwest Florida community.  He is an active member of Kiwanis
Northside Club, Collier County Bar Association, Lee County Bar Association, Young Professionals of Naples, and
Southwest Florida Gator Club.  He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the United States District
Court, Southern, and Middle Districts of Florida.

Marni M. Scuderi
Attorney

Prior to joining Weldon & Rothman, P.L., Marni Scuderi represented clients for the Shelter for Abused Women in
all types of family law and domestic related cases, including divorce proceedings and injunctions for protection.  
Ms. Scuderi was also previously an Assistant County Attorney for Collier County, a Staff Attorney for Twentieth
Judicial Circuit - Collier and Lee County, Florida, and an Assistant Public Defender in the Public Defender's Office
for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit.  Ms. Scuderi continues to practice in the area of family law, domestic relations,
criminal defense, and general civil litigation.       

Ms. Scuderi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia, before earning her law
degree from the University of Miami School of Law.
