Invariably, when individuals and businesses suffer an unexpected loss, a
claim must be made with the insured's insurance company. In the claims
process, insurance companies have always held a big advantage over the
insured; they have the money and extensive resources used to investigate
and handle claims, and often project a "David and Goliath" image when
